A little about me

Hi, I'm Stephen. I have spent more than a decade working in project delivery for a range of organisations; from small teams building start-ups, to transformational projects for some of Australia's largest businesses.

Through these roles I have developed a comprehensive skill set covering end-to-end lifecycle programme & project management. This has been built on a solid foundation in business analysis, change management, user acceptance testing, and release management.

Stuff I'm good at

I am experienced in both traditional Waterfall and Agile/Lean project methodologies, and have a very strong background in user experience, interaction design, HCD, and visual design.

In addition to project delivery I have broad experience managing cross-functional teams, working with executive-level stakeholders, managing sales relationships, development of business cases and budgets, and creating business networks.

What's my process?

When building tools and services for my clients I place the customer in the center of anything I do.

Using a collaborative approach I can help your business get to the core of the problem you are trying to solve. Together we can iterate, test and deliver the best solution to meet any customer need.

What am I doing at the moment?

I've recently returned from a short a sabbatical in Cambodia where I was building some cool new stuff in the lifestyle improvement and fintech space.

Back in Melbourne I work with AMP Australia, designing world-class digital experiences as a Digital Delivery Manager.

I also I run a pretty popular ASX small cap investment forum, .

Some nice things people have said about me

Stephen is passionate about innovation and has fully embraced the underpinnings of user experience in the design process. It was a pleasure to work with him and I'd highly recommend him to any organisation interested in moving out of technology driven solutions and into discovering customer driven solutions that align with business strategy Ash Donaldson - Design & Innovation Consultant
His superior IT knowledge was always a great help as I knew I and others could come to him with problems that were never too hard to handle. This along with the leadership skills he possesses shows why he is an asset to any team and how he has continued to grow further in this organisation and will so in his future endeavours Chad Twist - Business Development at Reinsurance Group of America
Stephen relished his role as ‘champion’ for the user experience, always striving for excellence and elegance in his solutions. He also has that rare ability to quickly identify a problem, and logically come to a solution which not only works for the customer, but works within the constraints of all business, stakeholder and technology parameters.
